(Self Paced Course, Grades K-12)

This self-paced course is designed for educators who are curious about the intersections of culture, science and disability. Educators are invited to explore tools and opportunities to help expand inclusive science practices for K-12 students with disabilities. Topics include tactile science manipulatives, audio descriptions, accessibility features of digital tools, and more.

Content within this course was developed in partnership with IDEA-STEM, an organization dedicated to inclusion, diversity, equity, and access in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. IDEA-STEM works to improve the experiences of professionals, students and trainees with disabilities in STEM and healthcare fields.
