Bring real-world issues to the classroom using Design Thinking to solve food security problems highlighted by the UN Sustainable Development Goals. During this session, you will discover how students can design seed savers from simple materials to protect seeds for future use. You will be provided with a step-by-step look at a classroom-ready learning experience for grade K-9 students. Options for incorporating technology in the design using a micro:bit will also be explored.
