Technology Enhanced Learning: Tiny tech, BIG ideas!

Micro:bits are inexpensive and readily accessible, with many schools already equipped with student sets. They are easy to use, and a plethora of ideas for incorporating them into student learning already exists. The aim of exploring this topic is to find and share simple ideas that facilitate educator buy-in and student gains in coding. Often, educators feel anxious about exploring something new, so the aim will be to showcase simple ways to use micro:bits to meet curriculum requirements. In an ideal world, participants would have a micro:bits to hand at the meetings.

We will learn from one another. Each community member comes with knowledge, skills, and attitudes that their prior experiences have shaped. Each voice and story holds importance, and so everyone is welcome to share their personal experiences; however, none are required to do so.
